This year’s Nigeria-Brazil Business Summit which debuted last year is holding from August 13 to 15 at Everest Rio Hotel, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Olusegun Akinruli, president/CEO of the Nigeria-Brazil Centre for Business, Culture and Cooperation, organisers of the event, has stated.
This year’s theme is ‘Brazil-Nigeria: Dialogues for Creating a Collective Platform for Business Cooperation’.
The summit is a follow-up to a trade mission expected from Brazil this weekend. The Nigeria-Brazil Centre for Business, Culture and Cooperation, the Nigerian Embassy and the government of the State of Rio Grande do Sul organised the trade mission composed of business leaders to Nigeria for May 26 to 31, 2013.
The Nigerian ambassador to Brazil, Vincent Okoedion, will lead the mission. More than 30 investors from Brazil will participate in the investors’ forum in Abuja and Benin. Bilateral agreements will also be signed by the Rio Grande do Sul government and the Nigerian government.
