In an exclusive interview with BusinessDay in the commercial capital of Lagos, Nigeria’s minister of finance, Zainab Ahmed, said the federal government targets to raise N252 billion from the privatization of government assets in 2020.
Ahmed, who spoke to BusinessDay at the Udo Udoma and Belo Osagie private equity summit Friday, did not name the specific assets but said they will be selected from across various sectors.

The minister also said the government is weighing options of tapping the debt market amid the
