Samuel Ortom, the minister of state for industry, trade and investment, has said the Federal Government is committed to creating environment conducive to investment to ensure economic growth.
Ortom stated this at the opening of the ‘Konica Minolta Digital Print Solution Exhibition’ on Wednesday in Abuja.
The minister was represented at the occasion by his senior special assistant, Steven Amanse.
He said the government was putting the necessary mechanism in place to ensure transformation of all sectors of the economy, and create jobs and wealth for the country’s teeming population.
Ortom said the ministry would leave no stone unturned to ensure flow of domestic and foreign direct investments into the country.
He said the exhibition was timely in view of the transformation agenda of the present administration which focuses on attracting investors and developing the economy.
The minister urged ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) as well as the private sector to take full advantage of the exhibition to develop partnership that would translate to good business transactions for enhanced economic growth.
