South-East Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (SECCIMA), a regional chamber, has promised to participate fully at the forthcoming Anambra Trade Fair, which kicks-off in November 25, 2016.

John Udeagbala, president of SECCIMA, who revealed this at the quarterly meeting of the regional chamber, held Thursday in Owerri, Imo State, its secretariat, stated that the event would afford manufacturers and other service providers in the South-East region, the opportunity to showcase their products and services to the world.
He specifically urged Emma Nwakpadolu, president, Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA) to mobilise the shoe and garment makers, fabricators and other artisans in Aba to participate fully at the fair, which according to him, would attract foreign patrons to the region.
He stated that the regional chamber would use the event as a launch-pad to promote made-in-Nigeria products from the South-East region and urged all member-chambers to mobilise fully for the fair.
The coming 2016 Anambra Trade Fair, known as the “Jubilee Fair” is the first of its kind since the creation of Anambra State, 25 years ago.
This project metamorphosed from a union of three-city Chambers in Anambra State, namely-Awka, Nnewi and Onitsha Chambers of Commerce to form the Association of Anambra Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (AACCIMA).
The event, which is expected to be an annual Trade Exhibition (of an international standard and dimension) begins on Friday November, 25 and ends on Friday December 9, 2016.
The slot fits into the NACCIMA Calendar, annually taken by the Nnewi International Auto and General Trade Fair.
The Anambra Trade Fair is expected to progressively grow in popularity and become the next destination forum for trade and business promotion in Nigeria, and indeed Sub-Saharan Africa.
The Fair which of course, is supported by the Government of Anambra State, shall be well attended by numerous Government agencies seeking new ideas, inventions and innovations necessary for the attainment of the objectives for which they were set up.
It also provides opportunities for various trade groups and professionals to present new products and ideas. 
Foreign visitors will also have the privilege of visiting places of interest in the State and other parts of the country, including Ogbunike Cave, through the State’s hospitality and tourism programmes.
The Fair brings into focus the full potentials and business opportunities existing in Anambra Sttae, South-East region and Nigeria.
