Virgin Atlantic rolls out ways to book flight from Nigeria

Virgin Atlantic Airways (VAA) has rolled out ways by which customers from Nigeria can book and pay for flight after it plans to close down its call centre in Nigeria.

According to the airline, after booking for flight, travellers now have the opportunity to pay directly to the airline online through their banks’ websites by first logging onto their banks’ internet banking platform, then select NIBSS e-Bills Pay from the available options.

After that, the customer will now select Virgin Atlantic Airways as the beneficiary, fill in amount and payment details, the account will be debited immediately and payment will instantly be received by VAA.

Travellers could also walk into their nearest bank branch, complete a deposit slip and hand it to the bank teller and then collect a printed receipt from the teller.
Upon receipt of your payment, VAA will issue and send your e-ticket to your indicated mail address within 24 hours.

According to the airline, if a customer does not receive the e-ticket within the time frame, he can contact the numbers: 01-4612747 or 01-4483000 from Monday to Friday between 8a.m and 4.30p.m and Saturday between 8.30a.m and 12.30p.m except on Sundays.

Above all, all prospective travellers must have the following information ready before proceeding to pay for flight: booking reference, travel dates, passenger name, amount, email address and contact telephone number.
