Nigeria’s Covid-19 Infection Rate falls further, as NCDC records 146 new cases

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) on Tuesday reported a further decline in the rate of Covid-19 infection in the country, as it recorded 146 new cases, taking the total to 4787.

Confirmed new cases of Covid-19 fell across the states, including Lagos, the epicentre,  with 57,  followed by Kano where 27 infections were recorded.

Other states’ figures were: 9-Edo, 8-Bauchi, 7-Yobe,4-Kebbi,4-Oyo, 3-Katsina, 3-Niger, 2-Plateau, 2-Borno, 2-Sokoto, 2-Benue, 1-Gombe, 1-Enugu, 1-Ebonyi, 1-Ogun, 1-FCT, 1-Rivers

New infections reported by the centre have falling since this week.

NCDC said 959 patients have so far been discharged, while 158 died.
