Consequent to the shootings and killings of the #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Tollgate by suspected soldiers on Tuesday night, the Lagos governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ordered the shut down of governance in the state for three days.
Sanwo-Olu, who also apologised to the youths and their parents over the killing incident, equally directed that flags be flown half-mast in all public places across the state for three days in honour of the dead.

The governor, who had earlier visited the various hospitals to see the victims of the Lekki Tollgate shootings, while commiserating with their families of some killed, however, noted that three casualties who sustained injuries had been treated and discharged, while four more still being treated would be released later today.
Again, Sanwo-Olu appealed to the protesting youths to end their rage and give Lagos government a chance to handle the situation and restore peace.
