The Kayode Kasum-directed film will be in cinemas from July 12.

On what inspired the movie, Iren, who wears the cap of the executive producer, said: “We are all products of influence, and one major source of influence is television. Anyone who is passionate about culture-shaping should pay attention to TV, which is what we are doing. Statistically, it’s proven to be a very potent source of influence and culture.

“That’s why we are here. I believe a lot of people, in some shape or form, will see themselves in this story, especially considering that in the dating phase, a lot of us put our best foot forward. And as time goes on, subconsciously, we begin to rest on our oars.”

Sharing his thoughts on the movie, the director, Kayode Kasum, said: “It’s a beautiful story by Pastor Iren. When I read the script, I had a big smile on my face and I just couldn’t help but start thinking of the actors that will play roles in the film. I am so excited I made this film. It will make you have a self-reflective moment and ask yourself questions, and those are the kinds of films I feel we should be watching.”

Celebrities like Erica Nweledim, Seyi Awolowo, and the wife of the executive producer, who is also a filmmaker, Laju Iren, also graced the occasion.
