Hampton by Hilton, a flagship under Hilton’s global portfolio, has announced the opening of Hampton by Hilton Sandton Grayston, marking its debut on the African continent.

This milestone represents the brand’s 150th property in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, solidifying its position as a leader in the mid-scale hotel category, the company said in a notice.

Located in Johannesburg’s bustling financial and shopping district, the newly opened 158-room hotel caters to business and leisure travellers alike. Its proximity to the Gautrain train station, just 1.8kilometress away, provides seamless connectivity to O.R. Tambo International Airport and key attractions such as The Sandton City Mall and Nelson Mandela Square.

According to the statement, Hampton by Hilton Sandton Grayston offers guests the signature service and amenities that the brand is known for, including a premium sleep experience, complimentary hot breakfast, and the renowned 100 per cent Hampton Guarantee.

“The hotel also features 24/7 Snacks for on-the-go refreshments, and The Active Hub, a fully equipped fitness center. The interior design is infused with local culture, featuring a vivid display of South African art inspired by the country’s landscapes and wildlife, offering an authentic sense of place,” it said.
