MRS. HARRIS GOES TO PARIS (2022)

Ada Harris was an elderly lady who worked tirelessly day and night, cleaning and helping others to raise money. A widow who had grown old alone, she harboured a heartfelt dream of owning a Dior dress from Paris. For years, she saved every penny to make her dream come true.

When she finally gathered the required amount, she packed her bags and set off for Paris to buy her dream dress. What followed was a journey filled with unexpected twists. Did she arrive safely? TICKET TO PARADISE (2022)

David and Georgia were once married, but after a few years and having a daughter, Lily, their marriage fell apart, and they went their separate ways. Lily grew up with her mom and, after completing school, decided to travel across the world to Bali. Upon her arrival, Lily fell in love with the beauty and simplicity of the place. Along the way, she met a young, handsome boy, fell in love, and accepted his proposal to get married. His simple rural family welcomed her warmly and loved her wholeheartedly.

When Lily shared the news with her parents, it didn’t sit well with them. Determined to change her mind, David and Georgia reluctantly reunited in Bali. Despite their differences, they agreed to sabotage their daughter’s wedding, believing it was in her best interest to return home.

This 1 hour and 44 minutes lighthearted romantic comedy drama will leave you laughing at how former enemies can come together for a supposedly good cause.

Directed by Ol Parker, the film features a stellar cast, including George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Kaitlyn Dever, and Maxime Bouttier.

THE NIGHT AGENT (2023) SERIES

If you missed The Night Agent Season 1, you might want to check it out to get a better understanding of the story before diving into Season 2. Despite not being a huge fan of series, I found Season 1 incredibly captivating and full of suspense.

In Season 1, Peter Sutherland worked closely with Rose Larkin to resolve a critical national issue. After saving the day, Peter was promoted to a bigger role and sent on a more challenging mission in Bangkok. Upon arrival at his duty post, his SIM card containing all his contacts, including those of his family and friends, was destroyed. Isolated and unable to reach anyone, not even his close friend Rose, he faced the daunting task alone.

His mission was to collaborate with Alice to uncover who was selling highly classified intelligence to the bad guys.
When he arrived, Peter’s new boss doubted his readiness for field roles, but Season 2 will show whether he could prove her wrong, how he handled his first assignment, and if he secured his place in his new role.

This thrilling action acked drama series has episodes with an average runtime of 45-55 minutes each.
