Sue Ann, portrayed brilliantly by Octavia Spencer, is a reserved African-American woman who works as a veterinary assistant. She lives a seemingly quiet life and keeps her daughter isolated, forbidding her from going out. Beneath her calm exterior lies a woman haunted by a traumatic childhood, filled with bitterness and a burning desire for revenge against those who bullied her during her teenage years.

Decades later, Sue Ann finds a way to confront her past by targeting not only her former tormentors but also their children. She befriends a group of teenagers, including the kids of Luke and Erica, and offers them a place to party in her basement despite their underage status. The teens quickly grow comfortable with her, but one fateful night, when they are drunk and vulnerable, Sue Ann makes her move, revealing the darkness within. To uncover the full extent of Sue Ann’s actions and the reasons behind her vengeful spree, you’ll have to watch this gripping film. MA is a 99-minute psychological horror-thriller that delves into trauma, revenge, and its devastating consequences. AD VITAM (2025)

Welcome to this brand-new action movie review! We’re diving into the 2025 movie lineup, and while this one had potential, it felt a bit flat for me. It seemed to drag longer than necessary, but overall, it was okay. The story follows Frank and Leo, who met during their agent training. Their bond grew from friendship into a relationship, and after waiting over five years, they finally succeeded in getting pregnant. While living their normal lives, they are attacked by a group of dangerous criminal’s intent on obtaining a key that could expose incriminating information about top government officials. Frank must do whatever it takes to protect his eight-months-pregnant wife from these brutal killers, who will stop at nothing to retrieve the key. The film unfolds as a gripping mix of action, crime, and mystery, keeping viewers on edge as events spiral out of control. Ad Vitam 2025 is a French action-crime thriller directed by Rodolphe Lauga and features a stellar cast, including Guillaume Canet, Stéphanie Caillard, Nassim Lyes, Zita Hanrot, Alexis Manenti, and Johan Heldenbergh. BAD BOYS (2024)

Bad boys for life!” If you’ve been following the Bad Boys series since it first hit our screens in 1993 and continued through 2020, this latest instalment is definitely for you! For all the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence fans, this is another thrilling chapter of action and comedy. In this edition, Will Smith reprises his role as Detective Mike Lowrey. Mike discovers that his former boss, Captain Howard, was framed for the death of a notorious criminal who had been exposed for embezzling millions of dollars before his demise. Together with his partner, Marcus Burnett (played by Martin Lawrence), Mike must work day and night to uncover the truth, identify the real culprits, and vindicate their former boss, whom they firmly believe is innocent. This action-packed movie keeps you on edge as the duo dives deep into the city’s underbelly, balancing humour and intensity in their quest for justice. The 115-minute action-comedy film was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah and features a stellar cast, including Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Jacob Scipio, Paola Núñez, Eric Dane, Dennis Greene, Tasha Smith, Alexander Ludwig, Rhea Seehorn, Quinn Hemphill, and Joe Pantoliano.
