THE IMPOSSIBLE (2012)

Having seen the trailer for a while I decided to check out this movie I bumped into. So, if you have seen movies displaying situations around natural disasters and you loved it, then search no further as this would be worth your while, Dr. Marie, her hubby and 3 sons decided to go on a family vacation, when they arrived, they absolutely loved the resort, the pools and beach view, they were all having the time of their lives, until a natural disaster occurred, that destroyed the entire resort and community. When the tsunami ended, the resort was without form and everything had been carried away by the wild wind and water. Dr. Marie was able to find her first son and they swam to safety, they kept praying and waiting for help till some villagers came around, she wept as she couldn’t find her husband and 2 little sons. The chaos was very serious as each family represented had one or two members missing, there was total sorrow in the land, people running north and south seeking medical help and looking for their loved ones. The 113m drama, based on real life movie was directed J.A. Bayona, they featured actors like Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor, Tom Holland, Samuel Joslin, Oaklee Pendergast, Marta Etura, Sonke Mohring e.t.c.

SHINA (2023)

It was so nice to see Timini in this simple Nollywood movie, it seems like this is his time and season, as a lot of people are loving him presently. It was one hell of a day for Shina, it started like every normal day, he went out and on arriving home, he met his grandma very ill, he was forced to rush her to the hospital for treatment, on arriving there the hospital refused to treat his grandma, till a deposit was made, but there was a very kind female doctor, who decided to put her job at stake to treat his grandma and save her life despite not receiving any payment, despite all his efforts to raise the money and get to the hospital, there was just one stumbling block or the other stopping him from getting there, it was a terrible night, one he will never forget. Well do check out the movie, to see if he made to the hospital in time and if his grandma was saved. The 96m Nollywood, crime, drama, thriller and African was directed by Muyiwa Adesokun, Carmen Lilian Ike-Okoro, they featured actors like Timini Egbuson, Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman, Akin Lewis, Segun Arinze, Aleiru Idowukeji, Neo Akpofure, Shawn Faqua, Tope Tedela, Preach Bassey e.t.c.

GOLDEN KAMUY (2024)

Sincerely I don’t think Japanese movies like this for are really for me, I dragged myself to making sure I sat till the very end to complete this movie, trust me I don’t think it was a very good experience or one I want to relive. Saichi Sugimoto was a great warrior he was called immortal, he arrived from a trip with his troop to find his old girlfriend blind, he decided to embark on a journey to go look for great treasures (like gold) to help him treat her upon his return. Along his journey he met a young great female warrior called Asirpa and they both worked together destroying troops and animals, till the very end. Well, you can check out the movie to see what was discovered at the tail end. This movie wasn’t worth my while in any way, I guess I would be staying away for a while from movies like this, as I couldn’t just wrap my head around the storyline nor the lessons passed. The 128m action, adventure movie was directed by Shigeaki Kubo, they featured actors like Anna Yamada, Kento Yamazaki, Gordon Maeda, Kenjiro tsuada, shuntaro Yanagi, Mitsuki Takahata, Hiroshi Tamaki and many more.
