Chukwuebuka Onyekwere, known as Ebuka, is the CEO and Founder of CI Onyekwere Intl Concept, a successful business that imports and sells electrical items all over Nigeria. His story is a powerful example of resilience, hard work, and never giving up.
When Ebuka was just 14, his life changed dramatically after his father passed away. As the oldest son, he had to take care of his family’s livelihood. His father’s business in Jos, which he had helped with after school, now rested entirely on his young shoulders. This huge responsibility forced him to drop out of school and face the harsh realities of life.
Despite his best efforts, the business began to fail. Ebuka was too young and inexperienced to handle all the challenges of running a business. It was a tough and painful time for him. He took on various odd jobs in Jos, doing whatever he could to support his family.
At 20, in search of better opportunities, Ebuka decided to move to Lagos. Life in Lagos was very challenging and full of obstacles. But he didn’t give up. With determination and hard work, he faced each challenge head-on.

A major turning point came when he traveled to China. In China, he did menial jobs to survive. He learnt the Chinese language and after four years of working tirelessly, learning as much as he could about the business world, he returned to Nigeria.
He used his new found knowledge and connections to start his own business.
Slowly but surely, his efforts paid off. Despite working long hours and facing many setbacks, he never stopped pushing forward.
At 35, Ebuka is a successful businessman, running a company that imports and distributes electrical goods across Nigeria.
