Benefits of having a second international passport, Dual Luxury World explains

Benefits of having a second passport, Dual Luxury World explains

The dire economic situation in the country, coupled with the limited number of countries Nigerians can visit visa-free, is making the thought of having a second international passport more of a necessity than a luxury.

For those who have the money, why don’t you spend that money to get a second international passport that can let you travel to more than 140 countries visa-free.

Dual Luxury World, an exclusive advisory firm specialising in dual citizenship investment, draws on over five years of experience facilitating the acquisition of a second international passport through investment. The company hosted a cocktail event with partners, selected high-net-worth individuals, and the press in attendance.

The event, which was jointly organised with the Legacy Haus, gave attendees not only the opportunity to see why they need a second international passport from countries such as Antigua and Barbuda, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia and Vanuatu, but also a chance to network.

Attendees at the event, held at the luxurious Landmark Towers in Victoria Island, Lagos, engaged in networking, exchanged contact information, established relationships, and relished the fine cuisine and cocktails provided by the host, Dual Luxury World.

After about 30 minutes of watching testimonials from fulfilled clients, Tosin Arobieke, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Dual Luxury World, was the first to speak to guests about the need for a second valuable international passport.

Arobieke spoke on the topic “Access to Global Freedom.” Breaking down the acronym A.C.C.E.S.S., she spoke about the advantages of a second international passport: control to holders of such passports, convenience to travel, education and employment opportunities, security, and a superior legacy.

On the advantages of having a second international passport beyond the green passport, Arobieke explained that the numerous rejections Nigerian applicants face at embassies or high commissions drive the need for a valuable second international passport.

The COO narrated the painful story of a techpreneur who lost a deal because he was a Nigerian, a situation that shouldn’t be if he had a second international passport that could help his credibility.

On the convenience of travelling and opening bank accounts in any country in the world, Arobieke explained that having a Nigerian passport with access to only 42 countries visa-free and enjoying this benefit without having a second valuable international passport is almost impossible. The stress makes it even more of a necessity to have this second passport.

She narrated the story of a client who lost a deal because he couldn’t meet up for a deal-making appointment in Singapore because he was in Nigeria. She said that if he had a second valuable international passport, the client could have met the appointment and closed the deal, irrespective of the time limit.

On education and employment opportunities, the COO mentioned the unlimited opportunities and undeniable access to quality education in any country that having a second valuable international passport can give a person. She narrated the experience of a client of theirs who couldn’t secure admission for his son at first because of admission restrictions. The client was eventually able to secure admission for his son after he explored the Caribbean passport benefit.

On security, Arobieke emphasised the importance of having a second valuable international passport, especially in situations like the Ukraine-Russia war that left many Nigerians stranded.

“We saw so many videos of Nigerians shouting, Help us! Help us!” she said. “Other countries have come for their citizens, but they were stuck.”

She continued, “But for the citizens of the Caribbean, the British government took responsibility for them… and they were able to get them and took them to the UK, and everybody found their way from there.

“Meanwhile, Nigerians were still there, and Ukraine is very cold.”

The COO highlighted the significance of obtaining a second valuable international passport over investments like real estate. She stressed that possessing a second passport enables owners to pass it on to their children or beneficiaries in the event of their demise, underscoring its superior legacy.

“You could turn it over to your children and your children and children after you,” Arobieke said.

She promised that Dual Legacy World was the best among the few to bring this dream into reality.

The next to speak was Olufunke Olumide, Managing Partner, The Legacy Haus. Olumide spoke on the need to build generational wealth that leaves a lasting legacy.

She advised the guests to shift their attention away from building or leaving financial wealth alone for their families or beneficiaries and instead build and pass other things beyond finance.

“And so for us, a multifamily office should be your personal advisor to lead you through the journey of building your wealth and your legacy,” she noted.

She advised that building this wealth shouldn’t be a result of an elevated financial position—instead, it should be started once a person starts working, and most especially when the person is married.

She talked about all the services the Legacy Haus provides, from legal advisory to family trust services, family governance and legacy planning, and lifestyle concierge. She also intermarried the goal of having a second valuable international passport with their overall goal.

The event was spectacular, to say the least, as guests had the chance to share their experiences and see the need to have a second valuable international passport.

According to a representative of Dual Luxury World, the cost of acquiring a second international passport starts at $100,000 for interested individuals.
