AVIC-KDN will participate as a major sponsor and exhibitor at the Nigeria Air Show from December 2–4, demonstrating how its integrated airport and aviation solutions—developed together with its global partners—can support Nigeria’s ambitions for a stronger, safer, and more efficient aviation sector.

Drawing on its experience delivering major airport projects across Africa, including Liberia’s Roberts International Airport and Angola’s Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport, AVIC-KDN sees Nigeria as a strategic market with significant growth potential.

Nigeria’s aviation industry supports hundreds of thousands of jobs and contributes substantially to GDP. However, infrastructure needs, operational costs, regulatory hurdles, maintenance gaps, and safety concerns continue to constrain growth.

AVIC-KDN aims to help address these challenges through modernisation, efficiency improvement, and long-term operational support.

“This is why we opened our Abuja office in 2024,” said Tim Chen, VP, AVIC-KDN. “Being in Nigeria allows us to collaborate earlier and more effectively with airport authorities on compliance, operational efficiency, and new service opportunities.”

“The Nigeria Air Show gives us a unique chance to meet stakeholders across the sector, share our project experience, and highlight the partners who help us deliver complete airport and airline solutions,” added Mengyao Ma, Regional Manager Africa, AVIC-KDN.

AVIC-KDN will exhibit in Exhibition Hall 1 (Booths A16–A19, A28–A31, B8–B11) alongside its global partners: Guangtai, which provides Airport Ground Support Equipment; Pteris Global with expertise in Integrated Airport Logistics and Facility Equipment; Siyuans Aviation Technology for their Airside Solutions; Civil Aviation Electronic Technology Co., CAET and EMMA Systems who provide worldclass Airport Systems; Sunon, providers of Airport Seating and Terminal Solutions; China Express for their Airline, MRO, and Training Solutions, and NANJING LES who will be showcasing their Air Traffic & Airport Management Systems

AVIC-KDN believes Nigeria has the resources and momentum to emerge as a regional aviation hub.

With modernised airports, enhanced operational standards, and strengthened airline development, the aviation sector can significantly expand its economic impact and regional connectivity.

Together with its partners, AVIC-KDN is committed to supporting Nigeria’s aviation strategy by delivering safe, modern, efficient, and profitable airport and airline solutions across the country.
