Citibank employees, alumni, families and friends around the world will reinforce the company’s commitment to supporting and improving communities by turning out in force on June 22 to commemorate Citi’s eighth annual Global Community Day.
In the days leading up to and including Global Community Day, more than 60,000 Citi volunteers will gather in 95 countries around the world to participate in more than 1,200 service projects to benefit local communities.
In Lagos, Citi volunteers will be working in collaboration with the UK Department for International Development to provide educational aid to a public school in Lagos. In Abuja Citi will be providing educational assistance to a school for the blind and in Port Harcourt Citi will be providing educational support to a community school.
