Parallex Bank, a financial services provider in Nigeria unveiled its new branch in Lekki Lagos on Wednesday and plans to branches at Ibadan, Abuja, Warri and Isolo .
Speaking at the official launch, Adeola Philips, chairman Parallex Bank said the branch opening is the beginning of exiting chapter for the bank and it is set to open five new branches in strategic locations which are Ibadan, Abuja, Warri and Isolo having opened two new branch
“So you can say Parallex bank is coming into your neighborhood and these expansions signify our commitment to reaching all communities, serving our customers and being available for you,” she said.
Phillips said Parallex bank is committed to staying at the forefront of the evolution of banking, especially digital banking in our nation, Nigeria. “And we’re committed to leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, strengthen risk management practices, expand our product offerings and deliver exceptional customer experiences.”

In January 2021, the bank was granted a commercial banking regional operating license to operate as Parallex Bank Limited.
At the time of the bank’s transition, it left behind 875 Microfinance Banks in Nigeria, out of which nine have national licenses, 98 operate at the state level, and 768 operate as unit microfinance banks. In 2021, Femi Bakre was appointed as managing director of the bank.

we provide some services and programs that are not available in Nigeria such as acquiring a property in United Kingdom without traveling, payment of foreign fees and various financial instruments that are not domesticated,” Femi Bakre managing director at Parallex Bank.
