A new chapter in global convenings unfolded as the Russian-organized World Public Summit brought together an influential mix of business leaders, policymakers, and thought leaders from across continents—highlighting not only the power of dialogue, but also the growing role of international travel as a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and cultural exchange.

Convened under the broader umbrella of the World Peoples Assembly, the summit forms part of a wider global initiative to host regional gatherings across key regions including India, Africa, Europe, and the Arab world.

The historic Summit in New Delhi reflected the revival of purposeful international travel—where airports, hotels, and cultural venues became extensions of the conference itself.

Participants from over 100 countries, representing industries from finance and technology to education and diplomacy, converged to exchange ideas and build partnerships.

Svetlana Smirnova, a leading figure in the global public diplomacy space, captured the spirit of the gathering, noting:“A new world is emerging, one defined by dialogue, trust, and shared values.”

Echoing this sentiment, Sameep Shastri highlighted the shifting global order and the need for collective action: “As the world stands at a defining moment conscious unity becomes a necessity.”

Adding a unique perspective shaped by space exploration, cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka reminded delegates of the shared responsibility of humanity:
“From space, you see how small and fragile our planet is.”

For many attendees, the journey was as significant as the destination. Business leaders described the experience as an opportunity to step outside virtual boardrooms and reconnect through face-to-face dialogue—an increasingly valued element in a digitally saturated world.

Panel discussions and forums covered a wide spectrum of global priorities—from economic cooperation and sustainable development to education, technology, and intercultural dialogue.

The format encouraged cross-sector collaboration, with entrepreneurs sharing platforms alongside academics, policymakers, and civil society leaders.

This multi-dimensional approach reflects the Summit’s broader mission: to foster trust, partnership, and people-to-people diplomacy through shared values and open dialogue.

The World Public Summit is part of a strategic series of international events designed to strengthen global networks and deepen regional cooperation.
