The Senate on Tuesday approved the appointment of Musa Shuaibu Nuhu as Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
The Senate confirmed the appointment after considering the report of the committee on aviation.
President Muhammadu Buhari had written to the te and requested it to confirm the appointment of Nuhu.
Senator Smart Adeyemi (Kogi West), chairman of the Senate Committee on Aviation, while presenting the report during plenary, said the nominee was screened successfully and that no petition was found against him.
Adeyemi stated that Nuhu met the relevant prerequisites for the job, explaining that the nominee was academically qualified and should be confirmed.
Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, while receiving the report further put the nomination to vote and the Senators unanimously approved it.
