Africa’s leading stakeholders in aviation, maritime, mobility, logistics, infrastructure and technology are set to converge in Lagos for the GAMMA TECH 2026, a continental summit focused on advancing Africa’s transport connectivity and innovation ecosystem.

The summit, themed: ‘Powering Africa’s Connectivity: Aviation, Maritime & Mobility Innovations as Catalysts for Trade and Global Competitiveness’ is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 5th November 2026 at thw Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

Organised by Aspire West Africa, GAMMA TECH 2026 is designed as a platform bringing together policymakers, transport regulators, airlines, maritime institutions, mobility innovators, technology companies, infrastructure developers, investors and trade stakeholders from across Africa and beyond.

In a statement by Aspire West Africa, it stated that the summit aims to deepen conversations around integrated transport systems, smart mobility, digital innovation, logistics efficiency, trade facilitation and infrastructure development as Africa positions itself for stronger participation in the global economy.

“The event will feature ministerial and executive panel sessions, aviation and maritime leadership dialogues, mobility and smart transport discussions, technology and innovation showcases, infrastructure and investment conversations, trade and logistics engagement sessions, corporate exhibitions and networking opportunities and strategic partnership meetings and the GAMMAStars Awards.

“Africa’s future economic competitiveness depends on the continent’s ability to strengthen transport integration, leverage technology and build efficient connectivity systems that support regional and global trade,” the statment reads.

GAMMA TECH 2026 is envisioned as a continental platform that connects industry leaders, innovators, policymakers and investors around one urgent conversation — how Africa can unlock greater trade, investment and economic growth through integrated aviation, maritime and mobility innovations.

The summit will spotlight critical industry conversations including regional air connectivity, airport modernization and aviation technology, maritime infrastructure and port efficiency, smart mobility systems, logistics and cargo connectivity, digital transformation and AI integration, sustainable transport development, infrastructure financing, AfCFTA and regional trade facilitation, and public-private collaboration opportunities.

Top government agencies, airlines, port authorities, transport institutions, technology firms, logistics companies and infrastructure stakeholders from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Africa and other African countries are expected to participate.

“Sponsorship, exhibition and strategic partnership opportunities are currently open for organizations seeking premium visibility and engagement within Africa’s evolving transport and technology landscape,” the organisers added.
