An aircraft operated by Enugu Air on Thursday skidded off the runway of the Benin airport during landing on Thursday.
The carrier confirmed the incident in a statement posted on its official X account.
The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday afternoon.
A video of the incident was shar
ed on social media by an X user identified as @Oyindamola.
The X user however described the incident as ‘crash land’ but this is yet I be confirmed by the relevant authorities.
“Enugu Air aircraft crash lands in Benin Airport this afternoon,” the X user wrote.
Enugu Air is owned and operated by the Enugu State government.
