Daniel Williams, a multi-talented Nigerian song producer, said he has perfected plans to launch a record label, called Royals Music Records ahead of the release of his debut single and album.
Popularly known as Yung Willis, Williams has gained experience after working with several artists to create unique sounds and navigate through the entertainment industry.
Commenting on the planned launch, Yung Willis said the launch of the record label marks the beginning of the future of talent discovery of artistes, music producers, sound engineers, songwriters, and creatives or entertainment professionals generally.
He said he is still learning and trying to navigate through the entertainment industry, but with a strong belief and passion to get it right.
“I believe that it is time for me to start small. With the launch of Royals Music, I can take the next phase in the evolution of my art and brand. With this, I can still give back to the creative industry that has helped me thrive over the last few years,” he said.

On his inspiration in the industry, he said that Don Jazzy has always inspired him with how he has shown through Mavin, that music can be structured by Nigerians at a global standard. He also said that Kanye West has also been a big inspiration for him both musically and entrepreneurially.
Yung Willis has worked with some of the biggest artistes in Nigeria including Falz, Timaya, Wizkid, Kizz Daniel, Davido, Niniola, Waje, BNXN, Zlatan, Yemi Alade, Patoranking, and Ice Prince to produce different hit records.
The music producer, who was originally an artiste before moving into production to further develop his craft from the inside out, now feels ready to express his artistry and storytelling talent.
Renowned for his signature tagline, ‘Wi Wi Wi Willis Give Dem’, Yung Willis has always prioritised giving back value which is one of the inspirations behind one of the biggest producer taglines in the World.
The launch comes just before the release of his debut single fittingly titled Givin Dem which is the first single off his upcoming album LOTP (Life of The Party). Yung Willis has partnered with Mr Eazi’s international label, emPawa Africa for this album.
