In an attempt aimed at strengthening its wholesale destination and travel business in Nigeria, GTA, a global travel company recently signed a contract with a Nigerian tour broking firm, Tour Brokers International (TBI) as its General Sales Agent.
This move according to Shaun Beckley, the company’s business development manager in Africa, noted that it will announce its presence to other retailers who are into the hospitality, tourism and business, as well as travel agents.
According to him, the need for GTA to come to Africa, especially, Nigeria, cannot be over-empahsised as travel potentials on the continent is increasing.
GTA has been the power behind some of the biggest and best in world travel for nearly 40 years.
Travel wholesalers, retail and online travel agents benefit instantly from its vast inventory of global travel content, giving them greater choice and control over how they market and distribute travel product to customers.
GTA have been scouring the globe for nearly four decades to create a vast inventory of hotels and unique ground travel products and services for partners and clients.

Beckley disclosed that in Nigeria, the company has got three hotels in its three month stay adding that the partnership with TBI will further boost the business.
Also speaking, Uloma Egbuna, managing director of TBI, explained that it is a credit based system that operates like the airlines do, adding that it is what everybody has been looking for in Nigeria.
GTA also offers hotels from 1-5 star, airport pick-ups, drop-offs, sightseeing among others.
