Attention: Sanni Muhammed Ozovehe

Good Day Sanni,

I read your article in the paper of the 1st of Sept 2014 about the N220 Billion MSME Fund and was surpirsed to even realise such funds existed.I consider myself one of the literate in society always doing my best to keep informed so if this can pass me by what more can we say about the average market trader on the streets?

My question is: what is the government or media houses doing about the publicity of these giant strides or efforts being advocated by government to assist MSME’s and secondly who are those to benefit from these funds? What criteria should a prepective enterpreneuer possess to be eligible for these funds, seeing that the Nigerian way is to seize every opportunity to embezzle funds meant for public use due to the ignorance of the public or non-enlightenment and mis-information.

How are the Media Houses making suree these monies trickle down to the hands for which they were intended and what feedback mechanism is the government or media Houses putting in place to ensure effective use of these funds? Have the social media been made use of? How can MSME’s have such funds at their disposal at such good rates and nobody even knows about it let alone taking advantage of it?

Thank you,

Allen Ebosiem
