Marketplace: Personal memoir

The year was like no other. I could not understand the reason for the opposition. All hell seemed to have broken loose. The attack was vicious, deliberate and non stop. There was no indication of a letting off. As a veteran in the art of spiritual warfare I was not ready to give in and so I pressed in further. But you can tell that the battle was taking its toll on me, with negative signs and wonders that my physical senses are bombarded with day and night.

The previous year was somewhat tough and daunting but God as usual carried us through on the wings of His words. The victory was smooth, beautiful and resounding. With the momentum of the Victory recorded last year we attacked the New Year with so much enthusiasm and vigor. Too sure of what to expect but to our utter amazement it was as though nothing was going to happen. In the physical the word bland became appropriate, but I knew better than to give up. I have reached this point many times in my life where it seemed as though nothing was happening, but eventually the WORD prevailed as usual. From this point you get to know the difference between a man and a boy, between the successful people and failures. There was no doubt in my mind, I was not going to throw in the towel. I would rather go down standing on the WORD of God than quit and beat a retreat. This is the attitude we are expected to have if we are to succeed in this wild world of evil and constant resistance. Truth makes you to be undaunted and determined, lies exhibit the same character to stop us and cause us to lose in life. But until the truth of the WORD of God has gained ascendancy in our hearts and we are fully persuaded, we can never partake of what is rightly ours. Our adversary, the devil is very skilled in the art of holding out, resisting, detracting and distracting, but we must never give up!  What we have going for us is much more than what they have going for them. We press in and be violent as we have been admonished( … right from the time of John the Baptist the kingdom of God suffers violence, and only the violent take it by force).

With this understanding we should never be confused again why we don’t get answers to prayers; this is the only way designed by God to work miracles in life and in the marketplace. We must fight, we must persevere, and we must press in leveraging on the victory that Jesus wrought on the cross of Calvary. We are not fighting as though we are blind; the reason for our fight is clear to us because what we are fighting for belongs to us. So brethren we take up our gauntlets and do justice to our adversary. Stop being an onlooker be assured that God has your back and you can only come out victorious.

Facts to Victory

1. Irrespective of what is happening around you or to your business, you must always be in a state of perpetual disagreement with the circumstance that threatens the existence of your business. A stubborn disposition to anything contrary to what God has said is the requirement.

2. You must be a Loudspeaker. The noise coming out of your mouth must drown out the voice of defeat and fear. The word of God says that whosoever shall say (speak) unto this mountain be removed… (Mark. 11:23). The power in your mouth is the power of the word of God, and there is no circumstance born out of hell that can withstand it. You must ensure there is perfect alignment for it to work.

As you remember to put all of these to work, I see great change happen for you in Jesus name.
