Lagosians reaffirm confidence in our party, Sanwo-Olu says on APC’s victory

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State governor, described the APC’s victory as a reflection of Lagosians’ trust in the party’s leadership and grassroots development agenda.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the governor congratulated the APC, its leaders, and supporters for the outcome of the elections held across the state.

“I have received with joy and gratitude the news of the resounding victory of our candidates in the local government elections held across Lagos State on Saturday, July 12, 2025,” Sanwo-Olu said.

“This outcome is a clear affirmation of the trust and confidence that the good people of Lagos have in the APC’s vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to inclusive development at the grassroots.”

While hailing the electorate for their participation, Sanwo-Olu said the victory belonged to the people of the state.

“Indeed, this victory belongs to the people of Lagos. It reflects your belief in our shared goals and your support for continuity, progress, and people-centred governance,” he said.

He commended the elected chairmen and councillors, reminding them that the mandate they received comes with the obligation to serve all residents, not just party loyalists.
