The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Enoch .A. Adeboye, will on Sunday July 6, 2025, lead other Christian faithful in a national economic restoration and enlargement prayers tagged ‘Divine Opportunities.’

The theme of the prayer session also aligns with the church’s July 2025 Thanksgiving Service scheduled to hold at the RCCG national headquarters, The Throne of Grace Parish, at Redemption way, Ebute-Metta Lagos.

“Our nation, Nigeria as well as other nations of the world, is going through a challenging time. However, the good news is that these challenges are surmountable by faith, if we do not entertain doubt.

“As citizens and stakeholders in Nigeria, we need to drop the garb of negative confessions and plug into the mystery of faith and positive reasoning, to drive positive action, towards moving Nigeria forward,” stated Oladele Balogun, SATGO (Admin) / PIC Region 1, who was represented by Segun Macaulay, Pastor-in-Charge of Province 1, RCCG, national headquarters, Lagos. During Friday’s press conference.

According to him, Nigeria needs divine intervention in her economy to plug into the divine possibilities as revealed by God. He implored Nigerians to have faith in God based on His inexhaustible abilities. “We trust He can and will reverse whatever has defied several efforts in the past.

“The leadership is putting in everything the team can humanly do. However, a lot of ground still needs to be covered for a nation as big as Nigeria. Yes, Nigeria is in dire straits, but God has reversed worse situations in the past,” Balogun stated.

According to him, the church has reached out to the different stakeholders involved in the day-to-day running of the country’s economy, as a way of deepening collaboration between those in government, private/public sector operators, the church and the general public.

“We have formally invited the managers and players in the economic sector, those whose capacities and capabilities are yet to be fully deployed in the economy, either unemployed or underemployed, fresh/intending entrants into the economy (youth corps members), every citizen, persons and families of diverse trades and backgrounds, earning a living in Nigeria,” Balogun stated.
