The President, it will be recalled, left Nigeria on the 2nd of April, 2025, on what Onanuga described as a “working visit to France.”

Following several criticisms over the President’s absence, Onanuga issued a statement, saying that governance was going on smoothly despite the President’s absence.

He assured that the President would resume work after the Easter holidays.
