Guinness Nigeria plc, a subsidiary of Diageo plc, has an- nounced that John O’Keeffe will resume in his new role as president, Diageo Africa, with effect from July 1, 2015.

To replace him as manag- ing director/CEO will be Peter Ndegwa, who is cur- rently managing director of Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited.

Soren Lauridsen, who was previously announced as O’Keeffe’s replacement, has decided to leave his position due to personal, family related reasons ef- fective end June.

Peter holds an MBA from the London Business School and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nai- robi and is also a qualified accountant.

He has over 10 years working experience in East Africa and the United Kingdom with the global ac- countancy and consulting firm, PricewaterhouseC- oopers.
