…Glory Edozien, Adedayo Oluomo

Thinkers360 has released its list of the Top 50 Global Thought Leaders and Influencers on Careers for 2025, recognising professionals who have made significant contributions to career development and professional growth.

Among those honored this year are two distinguished Nigerians, Ayobola Oluomo Adedayo, a doctor and Glory Edozien (PhD), who secured the 21st and 31st spots, respectively.

Thinkers360, a globally respected platform, ranks top executives, industry experts, and influencers based on their insights, influence, and contributions beyond social media.

The selection process evaluates curated thought leadership content such as articles, books, keynotes, media interviews, and webinars, ensuring a holistic view of each honoree’s impact.

“Our differentiation from the various influencer leaderboards on social media is that we take a holistic view of thought leaders and experts, beyond their social media activity, and look across all the hats they may wear – such as academic, analyst, author, consultant, entrepreneur, influencer and speaker – and all the types of thought leadership content they produce,” the platform wrote on its website.

Ayobola Oluomo Adedayo is an award-winning product, marketing, and UX design leader with over 15 years of experience across industries like Telecommunications, Technology, and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).

With expertise spanning product management, user experience, stakeholder engagement, and market research, she played a pivotal role in leading the go-to-market and delivery of the Learn At Home initiative, powered by the Mastercard Foundation.

Glory Edozien is a recognized LinkedIn Top Voice for Africa and an influential career coach dedicated to helping women executives build professional visibility, access board roles, and position themselves as thought leaders. She has coached top female professionals across multiple sectors, leading them to Non-Executive Director positions, media recognition, and global speaking engagements. Through her LinkedIn Visibility Training Programme, she empowers women to articulate their professional values and leverage networking for career advancement.

Edozien the founder of The Ascent Club, which publishes the Top 100 Career Women in Africa annually in March to celebrate the bold, pioneering women shaping industries and redefining leadership across the continent.

Expressing her excitement on LinkedIn, Edozien wrote: “I am thrilled to announce that I have been named one of Thinkers360’s Top 50 Global Thought Leaders on Careers! This recognition is a testament to the power of visibility, strategic thought leadership, and showing up with intention.”

The recognition of these two trailblazing Nigerian women comes at a fitting time—March, globally celebrated as Women’s History Month, which highlights the achievements of women breaking barriers and shaping the future. Their inclusion as the only Nigerians in this prestigious ranking reinforces the growing influence of women in business, career development, and thought leadership on a global scale. It also highlights Nigeria’s growing influence in career thought leadership.
