HP, a global technology company has unveiled HP DesignJet portfolio in a bid to improve work efficiency and save cost.

HP said the product which comes with cutting-edge large-format printing technology is most valuable to architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals and copy shop businesses.

In a statement on Wednesday, the multinational company said the HP DesignJet Smart Tank T908 is the first large-format ink tank multifunction printer, offering cost-efficient, high-quality printing.

The product, according to the company, is designed for hybrid work environments, as the new printers improve productivity with intuitive, high-speed printing solutions.

“The new 36-inch HP DesignJet printers provide high-quality, cost-efficient printing solutions, addressing the evolving needs of professionals working in hybrid environments,” the statement read.

“It features an innovative spill-free refill system, ensuring effortless maintenance, and boasts an impressive print speed of 120 A1 pages per hour,” it further stated.

HP said the printer is optimised for A3-A1 CAD drawings and architectural boards, delivering precise, high-quality prints with minimal waste.

Ernest Azzam, head of Large Format Printing Business, HP MEA, said since hybrid work models become integral to the professional landscape in Nigeria, AEC professionals, and the associated copy shops, need easy-to-use tools.

These tools will help them be more productive and deliver high-quality work—whether they are in the office, at home, or somewhere remote.
