The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) has officially started its meeting in Abuja, with Acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, presiding over the session.

Notable attendees include National Secretary Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, Senator Ben Obi, BoT Chairman Senator Adolphus Wabara, Board Secretary Senator Ahmed Makarfi, former Niger State Governor Babangida Aliyu, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and other key figures.

Party members said the main agenda at today’s BoT meeting includes the urgent need for the NEC meeting, the conflict between National Secretary, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, and PDP Governors Forum chairman, Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed, as well as the ongoing zonal congresses within the party.

Some party members said the meeting becomes imperative because issues in the PDP are getting out of hand, noting that in the coming days, there will be a series of meetings.
