Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has officially appointed Prince Abimbola Owoade as the new Alaafin of Oyo State.

This announcement was made in a public statement on Friday, signed by Dotun Oyelade, the Commissioner for Information and Orientation.

The statement confirmed that after extensive consultations and divinations, the Oyomesi recommended Prince Abimbola Akeem Owoade, and the appointment was approved by Governor Makinde.
