After much pressure, the embattled national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Mua’zu, has resigned.
Olisa Metuh, PDP national publicity secretary, confirmed the development to newsmen at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday.
As at the time of filing in this report, a crucial meeting of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) was still ongoing.
Metuh, however, assured that Wale Oladipo, the national secretary, will brief journalists after the meeting. Details later…
