Promosalons Nigeria, official representative of Promosalons France in Nigeria, has organised a trade mission of Nigerian firms to this year INTERMAT Trade Show holding from April 20 – 25, 2015, in Paris, France.

The event, expected to feature over 200,000 visitors and 1,345 exhibitors from more than 148 countries, has Promosalons Nigeria leading Nigerian delegation, among which are: Federation of Construction Industry (top executives of these professional associations in Nigeria)

According to Akin Akinbola, managing director/CEO, Promosalons Nigeria, Cameroon and Gabon, “INTERMAT is the international trade show for equipment and techniques for construction and materials industries bringing together all the actors in mines and quarries, production and use of construction materials, concrete industry, building and work sites, drilling, boring and special foundations, earthmoving and civil engineering.

“Others are construction and maintenance of road infrastructure, vehicles and transportation for materials, equipment and people, components, equipment and accessories, automatic systems and new technology, environment, demolition and recycling, communication and services.”

Held every three years, INTERMAT is one of the world’s largest trade shows in the field of construction equipment, machinery, technology and materials.

With its positioning in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA region), the exhibition has over the years becomes a unique occasion to meet a wide range of clients, in particular from French-speaking countries, Turkey, the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) zones.

In parallel, the exhibition has made itself a reputation for delivering information and insight in high-priority areas such as equipment rental, and topical themes such as demolition, waste reconditioning and recycling.

To bring all of this expertise to life, INTERMAT offers throughout its six-day duration a unique event programme comprising dedicated theme days, seminars and round-tables, foreign delegation visits, etc, he said.

Some of the speakers in this year’s event include Akki Akil, Turkish ambassador, and Utku Bayramoglu of will speak on ‘Overview of Turkish market and economy,’ while Dursun Topcu, vice-president of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will speak on ‘Major projects in Turkey.

A debate will follow with several guests from rental companies and equipment manufacturers.
