Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading wealth advisory firms, has entered into a partnership agreement with Serengeti Capital Limited of Ghana, aimed at expanding its business portfolio and strengthening its capacity to execute transactions within the West African investment market.

According to a statement released by Afrinvest, the company shall, under the new partnership, act as a Nigerian partner for Serengeti and be responsible for the origination, general coordination, management and implementation of any transactions for Serengeti in Nigeria, and vice versa.

The business relationship involves principal subsidiaries of Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited viz Afrinvest Asset Management Limited and Afrinvest Securities Limited, as well as key subsidiaries of Serengeti Capital viz Serengeti Asset Management and New World Securities, and covers all areas of mutual interest including Investment Banking, Asset Management, Brokerage and Investment Research.

Ike Chioke, managing director/CEO, Afrinvest, described the partnership as a positive development for both companies.
