Emeka Ihedioha, the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, has won the Imo State Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) primary election.

Ihedioha got 346 votes to beat Araraume who polled 333; Ikedi Ohakim, 230, and Chris Anyanwu, who got 5 votes.
