Female suicide bomber blows up self at FCE Kontagora

A suspected female suicide bomber has killed herself in a failed attempt on students of Federal College of Education (FCE), Kontagora in Niger State.

She is said to be heading for the school’s library about 12:45pm when the bomb went off.

A student of FCE, who pleaded anonymity, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on telephone that the female suicide bomber was instantly killed while another student sustained injury.

The police spokesman in the state, ASP Ibrahim Gambari, confirmed the incident but said they were yet to get full details of the incident. “The female suicide bomber blew herself up before reaching her target,” he said.
