The Lagos State Police Command, in what has been described as a show of force and might, Tuesday morning swooped on the rampaging trailers and tankers on Apapa-Oshodi Expressway forcing them out and making the hitherto clogged expressway free for other road users.
It has therefore been a smooth and stress-free driving experience for motorists on that route, reducing significantly both travel time and cost.

Driving through the expressway before today had been a nightmare as over ‘one million’ trucks and motorcycles packed indiscriminately had occupied over 90 percent of the four-lane expressway.
It now takes less than 30 minutes to drive to Apapa from Cele Express Bus Terminal.
