Signal Alliance targets value creation in cloud-based computing

The newly appointed managing director/CEO of Signal Alliance Limited, an IT services integrated company in Nigeria, Adanma Onugbu says her focus would be to create consumer value in the new cloud computing business.

“The direction of the industry today is cloud-based solution. So, our target is to lead the transition to ensure that we remain at pace with trend in the space we play,” she says, saying the new management of the company has been part of the strategic growth plan, and would ride on the industry trend to ensure its clientele enjoys quality service delivery and data protection using cloud-based solution.

Cloud computing is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the internet, which differentiates it from traditional hosting.

Onugbu, who is arguably the first woman CEO in the IT integrated services industry in Nigeria, says the next level is about integration and partnership, pointing out that it would consolidate its already existing partnerships with Microsoft, SAP, CISCO and others.

A graduate of economics who rose through the ranks after being employed as company secretary, Onuegbu says being the only woman CEO in the space we play, we shall ensure that we sustain the vision and core values we believe in, because “there is a lot of opportunity for us in the industry, and our promise as a company is to continue to improve on the services we give to our customers, because value is critical to us.”
