AVEVA provides integrated engineering, design solutions to Total E&P Nigeria

United Kingdom-based engineering and construction firm AVEVA says Total E&P Nigeria Ltd (TEPNG) has adopted its engineering and design solutions as part of an integrated engineering and design approach.

TEPNG is the operator of a joint venture with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

The company has invested in acquired licences for AVEVA PDMS, AVEVA instrumentation, AVEVA electrical, AVEVA engineering, AVEVA diagrams and AVEVA review and has fully implemented the software across its local site modifications and repair projects, according to a statement posted on the UK-based firm’s website on Thursday.

“This investment in AVEVA’s solutions demonstrates the value our products deliver to owner operators engaged in complex engineering projects,” Fredy Ktourza, senior vice president, Western Europe and Africa, AVEVA.

“This important deployment will help us to increase our footprint within Nigeria, not only with the IOC’s, but also with the local engineering and construction contractors that are engaged with projects throughout the country.
