French Multinational Corporation, Schneider Electric Nigeria has decorated one of its long-standing distributors Bola Azeez, the chief executive officer of Bolamark Engineering Limited.

According to, Schneider Electric Nigeria, the management affirms the rightful place of distributors with the right culture and push for excellence as a key component to the success equation.

“The CEO of Bolamark Engineering Limited, Bola Azeez, was awarded a Lifetime of Achievement Trophy for his longstanding partnership as our Official Distributor,” a statement from Schneider Electric said.

As a global specialist in energy management and automation in more than 100 countries, Schneider Electric Nigeria is involved with at least 50 percent of buildings around the country while 70percent of solar off grid or micro grids in the country use the company solutions.

Nigeria presents the biggest and most attractive off-grid investment opportunity in Africa. With a population of 195 million people, GDP of $405 billion that continues to grow at close to 3 per cent each year, it is the largest economy in Sub-Saharan Africa.

A significant amount of the country’s economy is already powered largely by small scale generators (10-15 GW) and almost 50 per cent of the population have limited or no access to the national grid.
