The third case of Coronavirus in Lagos, came in through British Airways, flight BA75, Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, said on Tuesday.
He said the case is a 30-year-old Nigerian lady who returned from the United Kingdom on March 13.
She is now in isolation and receiving care at the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba.
She visited the UK for 10 days. Her whole family has also been transferred to the Yaba facility.
“Contact tracing of all passengers and all those who may have come in contact with this latest case has commenced,” the Commissioner twitted.
The two previous cases recorded in Nigeria were males- the Italian businessman who imported the virus into the country and one of his close contacts.
