El-Zakzaky and Zeenat arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at 11:40am but operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) prevented journalists and some of his supporters from having access to him.

Reports said both Zakzaky and Zeenat are now in the hands of DSS officials, who would make provisions for where they would be kept.
