Digital CEO Africa to hold Summit in Portharcourt

The Organizers of the Digital CEO Africa has announced its readiness to host the summit in the city of Port Harcourt from Saturday 3rd to Sunday 4th August, 2019, after it successfully held the Lagos version which was well attended by participants within the South-West region of Nigeria, Abuja and Ghana.

The initiative which has empowered thousands of individuals since inception in 2016 is aimed at educating and empowering One million CEOs, Young Professionals, Start-ups and SMEs across Africa Countries, with participants at Lagos edition asking government to at all levels to support the organisation to reach all region.

According to the co-founders, Samson Olatunde and Kwame Opoku, educating people with technology soft skills, and most importantly equipping them with latest tools and Tech Hubs for productivity and profitability in the digital market revolution has become imperative in today’s world.

Speaking further, Olatunde, noted that the Digital CEO Africa Summit was designed to help business, political leaders, as well as career professionals develop cogent leadership and digital expertise for the 21st-century business and public sector arena.

Opoku a renowned futurist said, “The conference is a forum to help individuals and organizations maintain global relevance and effectiveness at all levels within their country’s economy in today’s fiercely competitive work and market place,” he explained

This year edition with a theme, “Tech, Transformation and the Future of Work and Industries,” will also witness book presentation titled: “The Digital Entrepreneur.” and will hold different panel sessions from notable speakers, with Ghana edition holding 28th September 2019.

Some of the speakers includes: Etop Ikpe CEO of Nigeria’s first and largest Auto Tech trading platform; CARS45.com; Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, Nigerian dancer, choreographer, dance instructor and fitness coach; Sonnia Agu a certified Harvard business school entrepreneur; John Obidi, 2018 Winner The Future Award Africa Prize for New Media;  Shola Animashaun , Won five (5) photography awards including a third place in an international competition with 7311 entries;

Others includes; Orimolade Oluwamuyemi, communication specialist with over thirteen (+13) years hands-on experience in Marketing and Communications role as  data analytics; Tricia Ikponmwonba Tricia is an IVLP world fellow and TEF Alumni; Ekundayo Ayeni, Certified by Google On AdWords Fundamentals, Search Advertising, Display Advertising, Video Advertising;  Ademulegun Olowojoba, Founder codetutor.com.ng; Lanre Oyegbola , CEO Boomerang in Africa.

The summit will be moderated by notable Abiola Salami, he featured on Africa’s most watched Soap Opera – Tinsel; Tope Mark Odigie, co-host, Your View on TVC;Adefolajuwon Amoo (Rtd),CEO Intercab and Gridcode.
