Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele on Monday moved the financial inclusion target from 80 per cent in 2020 to 95 per cent in 2024.
The CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele disclosed this at the world press conference in Abuja where he revealed his targets for his second term.

He also said the apex bank plans to expand bank customers from 34 million to 100 million in the next five years, through an aggressive enrolment of SMEs to the bank verification number (BVN).
