Commercial activities in Wukari local government have continued to suffer since the crisis between Tiv and Jukum tribes of Taraba erupted three days ago.
BusinessDay gathered that the crisis which started in the night of Monday saw the burning down of some parts of the famous Wukari yam market.
Most of the yam sellers in the area lamented the set back the crisis has Caused to their businesses.
A yam seller Who simply gave her name as Mbasa, said her shop was completely raised down as a result of the crises.
Mbasa called on the government to as a matter of urgency find lasting solution to the perennial crisis.
“They have completely burnt down my shop. What am l going to do now? The government should please find a way of ending the crisis”, She started in tears.
As at the time of filling this report the crisis has degenerated with many people running for their life’s.
