The Nigerian ‘Third political force’ under the auspices of the Nigeria Intervention Movement (NIM) has expressed shock by the precipitate composition of 2019 elections tribunals barely 24 hours that President Muhammadu Buhari erroneously pronounced the sack of Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen

NIM in a statement by its Director of Media Bureau, Debo Adeniyi said that the latest action of the Buhari regime to foist compromised election tribunals on 2019 elections has strengthened the third force convergence in Lagos on Thursday, “which seals our seven days ultimatum to President Buhari on the erroneous sack of the CJN.”

“With this mindless action against the Nigerian Judiciary by Buhari cabal for the purpose of the 2019 elections, we of the third force are left with no options than to proceed with the mobilisation of our allies and the Nigerian people for an unprecedented mass action to quash the reckless dictatorial action of President Buhari until it is rescinded”

“Lastly, we commend today’s Intervention of the European Union and United Nations on this matter. We wish the Buhari regime will heed their advice to redress the constitutional crisis already foisted on the country by his desperation,” the statement said.
