The Umuahia Premier club has held its Walk for Life, (Oyi Uguru) 2017 to sensitize residents of the Club’s free medical care and to keep fit.

Nnanna Achugo Nwala, the National president of the club during the exercise said the club decided to embark on the sensitization by walking through the streets of Umuahia which according to him would equally help members keep fit.

“We sensitized the people of Umuahia about our free Health care programme and this is the maiden edition of the exercise. We have to let people know the need for medicare.”

Also speaking during the exercise, Ugochukwu Nwabisi, secretary general of the club said the objective of the club was for people of like minds to converge for a common goal. He hinted that the club which is nonpartisan has plans to partner with the Abia state government for projects and where possible give suggestions to government.
