Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is currently meeting with Security Chiefs at the State House, Abuja.
The agenda of the meeting is not yet clear however based on the composition of the meeting, BusinessDay deduced that they may be discussing issues related to Bama and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the general North East region.
The Borno State government recently reneged on an earlier decision to relocate IDPs to Bama communities before May 29th, 2017, on basis of an ongoing ‘Mop-Up operations by military troops of Operation Lafiya Dole.
Those at the meeting include the Borno State governor, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Defence, Chief of Air Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, National Security Adviser, Commandant, Nigeria Civil Defence Corps, Minister of Defence.
Others include the Chief of Staff, Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Minister of State for Budget and National Planning alongside other government officials.
